On July 12, the international aviation association (IATA, referred to as the "International Aviation Association") released in May 2022 The global air freight market regular data showed that supply chain pressure relieved and performance improved.

Global aviation freight demand, calculated according to the freight tonnage (CTKS*), decreased by 8.3%in May 2021, and was better than-9.1%in April. The year -on -year increase in capacity was 2.7%, which was enough to offset the year -on -year decrease rate (0.7%) in April. All areas are growing, of which the Asia -Pacific region has risen the largest.

According to reports, after China's adjustment of Omikon's prevention and control measures, trade activities increased slightly in May. Emerging areas have also promoted growth with stronger transaction volume. New export orders are the main indicators to measure the demand for goods and global trade. Except for China, other markets have declined. Russian and Ukraine airlines are the main freight companies, and Russia -Ukraine conflicts continue to weaken freight capacity serving Europe.

The Chairman of the International Airlines Association, Willie Walsh, said that after seasonal adjustment, air freight has achieved a 0.3%growth again after two months. Asian production resumes, driving air freight demand. In addition, the strong rebound of passenger transport has increased abdominal capacity, although the market with the most severe austerity is not always the case.

In terms of area, Asia -Pacific Airlines has decreased by 6.6%year -on -year in May this year. Compared with 15.8%in April, it has improved significantly. North American Airlines' freight volume in May this year fell 5.7%year -on -year in 2021. The demand for the Asian-North American market is still weak, but other key routes such as Europe-North America are still strong. Compared with May 2021, capacity increased by 6.8%. Several airlines in the region will receive the goods in this year. If the economy will no longer continue to decline, it will help alleviate the demand for depressed routes.

European airlines fell by 14.6%year -on -year in May this year, and they performed the weakest in all regions because they were affected by the Russian -Ukraine conflict. Due to the influence of Omikon, the shortage of labor in Asia and the decrease in manufacturing activities. Compared with 2021, the capacity increased by 3.3%in May 2022.

Middle East Airlines' freight in May decreased by 11.6%year -on -year. In order to avoid the benefits of Russia's airspace's routes, it is not significant, and it may be due to the continuous supply chain problem in Asia. Compared with May 2021, capacity increased by 7.6%.

Latin American Airlines increased by 13.8%year -on -year in May 2022. It is the most powerful in all regions. Airlines in the region are optimistic, launched new services and increased capacity, and will also invest in more air freight aircraft in the next few months. Compared with the same period in 2021, transportation power increased by 33.3%in May.

African airlines in May 2022 decreased by 1.5%year -on -year in 2021. It is significantly lower than the growth rate of the previous month (6.3%). The capacity increased by 3.0%over May 2021.
