The survey showed that 34.7%of the respondents had experienced "physical and mental fatigue syndrome", of which the proportion of younger generations 20 to 39 reached 43.9%, which was much higher than the ratio of the interviewees 40 to 69 years old (28.6%). Interviewees said that they are often accompanied by strong escape emotions, fatigue and depression caused by work, weakness and weakness after work, and more sensitive and irritable. Not only office workers, students, freelancers and housewives complain that they have relevant symptoms.

As for the reason, young interviewees in their 20s are mainly because of "comparing with others" (39.8%), "perfectionist tendency" (35%), etc., and the interviewees in their 30s are mainly because "too eager to succeed in success. Some experts said that the early education of the younger generation of South Korea and the fierce enrollment and employment competition that have experienced later have made it more likely to suffer from physical and mental fatigue than other ages. Interviewee Jin (26 years old) said that after graduating from college, he was often compared with those who found a good job, so he has been in a helpless state. White -collar female Park (32 years old) also said that because she has been engaged in no promising jobs and suffers from indigestion and chronic fatigue.

In response to the severe cause of physical and mental fatigue in Korean society, 32.9%of the respondents believed that they were "overwork." According to the OECD data, Koreans spend about 7.8 hours per day in the workplace. The annual labor time of Korean office workers last year was 1928 hours, far exceeding the average level of OECD (1500 hours). In addition, the digital age has increased work pressure. More and more people will receive work information through smartphones and the Internet even after get off work or vacation. The boundaries between work and rest have become blurred. In the long run, it has further increased people's fatigue.
