Twenty years later, Tian Gang, as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Mathematics Alliance, saw that many of the students participating in the conference had become young leading mathematicians.

"In the past 20 years, my country's mathematics field has achieved unprecedented achievements and has made great progress. This is the result of the joint efforts of all Chinese mathematicians and actively participating in international cooperation."

In an interview with the Journal of China, Tian Gang was attending the meeting of the International Mathematical Alliance Executive Committee overseas.

He said he felt the increasing recognition and attention of the international mathematical community in the international mathematician.

In the past 20 years, Chinese mathematics "stars shine", mathematicians have worked unremittingly, active in the forefront of the world, and strive to achieve the transformation from "followers" to "leaders".

Mathematical research in the forefront of international

The International Mathematical Conference is known as the "Mathematics Olympic Games" and is the most important academic event in the mathematics industry.
