Recently, Guangzhou has issued a new energy subsidy policy. From July 1st to December 31st, 2022, individual consumers purchase new energy vehicles in Guangzhou to give comprehensive subsidies for 8,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan/vehicle.

On July 13, the Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission responded to the "Proposal on improving the comprehensive subsidy policy of the city's new energy vehicle comprehensive subsidy policy" in the 14th CPPCC members of the CPPCC. The Guangzhou Development and Reform Commission stated in the response that in order to accelerate the review and distribution efficiency of subsidies in the round of policies, and shorten the time limit for subsidy application, on July 6, the relevant departments of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission studied and discussed the subsidy application process and other matters. By adopting the development subsidy application system, optimizing application methods, establishing a database of application for application, the automatic matching of the vehicle information of the system, increasing the approval personnel, and the specification of the review period of various process nodes, the application subsidy cycle has been greatly shortened.

In order to avoid a large amount of subsidy funds flowing to luxury consumption, this round of subsidy policies include taxes including the unified invoice of motor vehicle sales (hereinafter referred to as "vehicle prices") without subsidies. At the same time, in order to accurately stimulate the market consumer demand, this round of subsidy policies refer to other brothers cities' practices, set up phased subsidy standards, that is, the vehicle price is 100,000 to 200,000 yuan (including 200,000 yuan), the subsidy is 10,000 yuan; the vehicle price For 200,000 to 300,000 yuan, the subsidy is 8,000 yuan.
