In the first half of the year, the total value of Hunan imports and exports was 325.54 billion yuan

On July 15, the Provincial Government News Office held a press conference in Changsha to introduce the import and export of foreign trade in Hunan Province in the first half of 2022. According to customs statistics, in the first half of 2022, the total value of imports and exports in Hunan Province was 325.54 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 25.2%. Among them, exports were 238.59 billion yuan, an increase of 37%.

Since May, foreign trade growth has increased significantly year -on -year. With the overall domestic epidemic prevention and control situation, the total value of Hunan imports and exports in May was 73.21 billion yuan, an increase of 54.1%; in June, it reached the historical peak, a peak of 86.51 billion yuan, an increase of 71.6%.

Foreign trade with ASEAN and the countries along the "Belt and Road" has grown rapidly. In the first half of the year, Hunan's imports and exports to ASEAN were 69.27 billion yuan, an increase of more than 70%, accounting for 21.3%of the total import and export value. ASEAN's contribution to the growth and export of Hunan import and export reached 43.7%. The imports and exports of countries along the “Belt and Road” were 115.45 billion yuan, an increase of 55.2%.

The leading effect of the provincial capital is further improved. In the first half of the year, Changsha's import and export was 164.51 billion yuan, an increase of 26%, accounting for more than half of the province's total import and export value. In addition, the scale of eight cities and states exceeds 10 billion yuan.

From the perspective of import and export products, the exports of steel, textiles, clothing, shoes and boots have increased significantly, and the imports of integrated circuits are growing rapidly. In the first half of the year, Hunan exported steel was 18.73 billion yuan, an increase of 214.4%; Hunan's imported integrated circuit was 12.84 billion yuan, an increase of 69%.
