Meng Zhaoxin, a famous member of the Communist Party of China, a senior academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a famous landscape garden scholar, a landscape garden educator, a professor and doctoral instructor of the Beijing Forestry University Institute of Garden University. Beijing died at the age of 90.

Academician Meng Zhaoyuan was born on September 13, 1932 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. He was admitted to the Beijing Agricultural University Horticultural Department of Gardening in September 1952. He graduated in July 1956. The Department of Greening (predecessor of the Beijing Forestry University Institute of Garden University) has successively participated in the construction of Beijing Forestry University's landscape and gardens and the preparations of the Department of Landscape Garden. Former deputy director of the Scenic Garden Expert Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban -Rural Development, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Scenic Garden Society, and the leader of the Beijing Municipal People's Government Garden Green Consultant Group.

Academician Meng Zhaoyuan has profound academic education and profound accomplishments. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of landscape garden planning and design, and is committed to inheriting and developing the national tradition of Chinese gardens.
