On the evening of July 15, 2022, a sudden rainstorm in Longnan and territory in Gansu. At 00:50 am on the 16th, the command center of the Longnan Fire Rescue Detachment received a report from the masses: Three people in Xihe County were in Yudong Village, Bridge Town. Due to the heavy rain raid, the river rose, and the situation was very urgent to avoid being trapped in the center of the river! After receiving the dispatch order, the West and the Brigade quickly assembled 2 cars and rushed to the scene. After arriving at the scene, the fire rescue workers immediately launched a reconnaissance. After the investigation, the river was about 70 meters wide and the water flow was very turbulent. Ascension, the three people were trapped on the sand piles in the center of the river. The sand piles were swallowed by the river a little bit, and the trapped people were in danger at any time.

The on -site commander immediately formulated a rope across the river, crossing the rescue plan: a firefighter used the rope to cross the sand to the sand pile to the rescue of the trapped personnel. After building a rope across the river, a firefighter carried rescue equipment to carry out. After the rescue staff crossed the sand piles, they worked well for the trapped persons and helmets for the trapped persons. After making two safety ropes, they would implement rescue for the trapped persons in turn.

Because of the rushing rainstorm, the river is to protect the safety of the trapped persons to the greatest extent, so that the trapped people are not allowed to have psychological fear due to the exposure to the turbulent flood. Fire rescue workers repeatedly demonstrate the height of crossing the rope, and use the rescue rescue fire truck boom. Improve the rope in a timely manner to ensure that the trapped persons will not suffer secondary damage during the rescue process. After four hours of unremitting fighting, the three trapped people were successfully rescued.
