At the same time, under the prevention and control of the normalized epidemic, by shortening the patient's hospitalization and family members to visit, it can effectively reduce the risk of hospital sense. Promoting day surgery services is not only an effective measure to improve medical services, but also the key tasks proposed by the city's health and health work conference this year. It is also an important means of improving quality and efficiency in the hospital and achieving "three changes and three improvements".

In 2021, the Taiyuan Health Commission combined with the previous pilot experience, drawing on advanced hospitals and regional management practices, actively explored and discussed, and issued the "Taiyuan City Daily Surgery Work Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), which was nationwide. Inside, the requirements for the admission and standardized management of the designated hospital for day surgery were the first to clear the relevant policies of day surgery management.

Clarify the filing requirements to expand the hospital's scope

The "Plan" clarifies the filing requirements for medical institutions to carry out day surgery. Based on the pilot of 5 hospitals in the early stage, hospitals can be recorded to perform daytime surgery. Hospitals above the second level of our city meet the requirements for the configuration, organizational management, and number of surgical cases such as diagnosis and treatment subjects, restrictions on medical technology, anesthesia and intensive medical beds, and the number of surgical cases.

As of June 2022, the Municipal Health and Health Commission and the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau have jointly completed four batches of filing. A total of 14 hospitals with 391 diseases (surgery) of 62 hospitals can perform daytime surgery.

Clarify the payment policy, open the channel for sale

Clarify work requirements and strengthen medical management

The "Plan" proposes to improve the day surgery management system, strengthen the quality control of day surgery, improves the experience of patients during the day surgery, improves the level of day surgery management, enrich the connotation of daytime medical services, and perform postoperative extension medical services at 6 points.
