On August 25, 2022, the FCC issued the latest announcement. From the date of the announcement, all FCC ID application projects need to provide antenna specification information, otherwise the ID will be canceled within 5 working days.
This requirement was first proposed in TCB Workshop in the summer of 2022. The FCC said that only the description of the applicant's description by the applicant in the report is not satisfied with the evaluation requirements.All applications need documents to describe how the antenna gain is calculated from the data table provided by the manufacturer, or provides an antenna measurement report.
The antenna information can be the data table, or the test report is uploaded and publicly publicly published in the FCC website.It should be noted that due to some commercial confidential needs, antenna information or antenna structure in the test report, the photo can be set to a confidential state, but the antenna gain as the main information needs to be publicly public.
