SOHO China: Chief Financial Officer Ni Kwai Yang is suspected of insider trading for investigation

The announcement mentioned that the company noticed that there were recent media reports that the company's chief financial officer Ms. Ni Kwai Yang (hereinafter referred to as "Ms. Ni") was under investigation by the police's insider trading.

The company's statement and clarification are as follows:

The company knows that Ni Kuyang is under investigation because of the inside story of the company's stock.

The company's directors (hereinafter referred to as "directors") and other executives do not know that they are suspected of insider trading and have not been investigated. However, the information provided by the relevant authorities is fully cooperated.

Due to the above survey, Ms. Ni could not perform the company's chief financial officer's duties before the investigation was completed. The company has temporarily transfer her duties to the company's chief financial officer. Directors believe that the investigation has no major adverse effects on the operation of the group's business.

SOHO China disclosed in an annual report of 2021 that Ni Kuyang, 44 years old, is the company's chief financial officer. She joined the company in July 2008, served as the company's chief financial officer from 2011 to 2013, served as the company's vice president and served as the chief financial officer in October 2018. She has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. She graduated from the University of PetroChina at the University of Petroleum in 1999 and obtained a bachelor's degree.
