The Beidou system is now widely used in transportation, public safety, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing, hydrological monitoring, meteorological forecasting, communication during communication, power scheduling, disaster prevention and mitigation and other fields.

Yang Changfeng, chief designer of the China Beidou Satellite Navigation System Engineering, said that at present, the equipment rate of Beidou in key operating vehicles, official ships, auxiliary navigation facilities and systems in the system has reached 100%, which helps major traffic accidents by 93%; Human driving agricultural machinery, plant protection drones and other smart agricultural machinery enter the production line to achieve cost reduction and efficiency. It is reported that as of August 2022, the domestic smartphone shipments supported by Beidou accounted for 98.5%of the total shipments.
