New species of plants were found in the Three Gorges area

Before the Three Gorges White, it is a plant in front of the oleandee family. Zhang Caifei, a scientific researcher at Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that the species is a new species unique to the Three Gorges region, so it names its Chinese name "Three Gorges Baiqian" and determines its Latin scientific name as "vincetoxicum pingtaoanum". "Pingtaoanum" -The word comes from the name of Li Bingtao, an expert in the peels of the peels, and the scientific researchers hope to pay tribute to the scientists of the predecessors in this way.

It is reported that scientific researchers have transplanted the Three Gorges Baiqian in Wuhan Botanical Garden in September last year through the method of collection and plant transplantation in the wild, and carried out research and follow -up research. It has blossomed in May this year, which is basically the same as the wild flowering time. The flowers are not large and there is no obvious fragrance.
