The reporter learned from the Preparatory Office of the Taiyuan Energy Materials College of the University of Science and Technology on September 21 that the University of Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially approved the establishment of Taiyuan Energy Materials College of National Science and Technology University.

The School of Energy Materials of the National Science and Technology University of Science and Technology started construction in August 2020 with a total construction area of 119,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.549 billion yuan.As of now, the total investment of Jian'an has been completed by about 985 million yuan, and the total project has been completed by 90%. All the main buildings are capped. The construction of indoor and outdoor decoration and mechanical and electrical equipment is underway. It is expected that the overall project will be completed at the end of September.

It is understood that in the early days of the college, the main body of the student was the existing students of the Shanxi Coalization Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the special training graduate students of Central North University. Among them, Shanxi Coaling has 399 graduate students from the University of Science and Technology and 30 people in Central North University, with a total of 429 people.In addition, the city is actively coordinating with the Provincial Department of Education to allocate 100 special enrollment indicators for the college as a reserve of future students.Source: Shanxi News Network
