[Scientific Research Progress] New evidence of the Western Dieni Period Wet Incident in Western Hubei, South China

"Carnian Pluval Episode (CPE) (CPE) is a global climate change and deposition incident that happened about 240 million years old. The incident reflects the humid climate of the dry climate of the late three -stacking period in the late three -stacking period, and the geological phenomenon of the changes in the changes in sedimentary sequences that occurred in a series of strong rainfall.

In recent years, the Kani period humidity incident has become a research hotspot in the geological school. Many records of the incident in the Sittis region have also been reported abroad. For the East Titz region in my country, it is currently only in Sichuan, Guizhou, and Shaanxi. There are reports with Shanxi and other places.

Recently, Dr. Li Qing, a researcher team of the Nanjing Institute of Geology, the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, cooperated with Dr. Micha Ruhl of Saint Trinity College of the University of Dublin, Ireland, and Professor Xie Xiaoping of Qufu Normal University. The sedimentary strata carried out analysis of all rock organic carbon isotopes. Studies have found that there is a global chemical evidence in Hubei regional humidity incidents. The results of the research have recently been published in the international publication "PalaeoWorld".

The research results show that in the upper part of the Badong Group in western Hubei, with the fluctuation of carbon isotopa values ​​(-21.2 ‰ -26.2 ‰), three times of carbon isotonin value (NCIE) appeared. The negative carbon isotonin is one of the significant features of the dampness incident of the Kani period, and has been widely recorded in the sequence of sea and land. The records of this Western Hubei region are very similar to the negative bias and amplitude of the organic carbon isotopes in the Sea -phase seas (Italy and Hungary) in the evening of the Stertius. The negative bias of the carbon carbon isotopes of the carbon period is compared.

Combined with the analysis of the rocky changes in the section, the research team believes that the negative bias of the upper carbon isotopa value of the Badong group is mainly caused by the increase in rainfall. It is inferred that at that time, the warm and humid climate of the transitional phase of the sea and land in western Hubei was inferred at that time.

Through the understanding of the incident in the transitional phase of the South China Sealand transition, the research team believes that the geological age of the three sections of the Badong group should be extended from the middle of the three stacks to the evening of the three stacks, and this is the same as the vermiculite U -PB's conclusions of the conclusions of the annual evidence are consistent, and it has important strata division of comparison significance. This discovery is also the first report of the Kani -Wet Wet Incident reported by Hubei, South China, provided new evidence for the global climate incident, which is of great significance to understanding the Wet Wet Event of the Cuni period in the East Titz and the land environment.
