New fish species found in Guangxi!

The reporter learned from the Kunming Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that recently, scientific researchers collected a new fish species in Fengshan County, Hechi City, Guangxi, named Cai Lao Gui Mooufish, which belongs to the newly built "Gui Moou Fish".

It is understood that the study was completed by the Kunming Institute of Animal Research from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Researchers found that the specimen review and organizing and the development analysis of the molecular system discovered that the wildfish fish collected in Fengcheng Caihu Village, Fengcheng Town, Fengshan County was found as a new species. This new lower lip is specially transformed into a suction cup structure with a well -developed upper lip. After comparison with other groups with suction cups, it is confirmed that it is not a known in any of the currently known. Therefore, a new genus named Guimoufish is built and named a new species.
