Satellite data standard and positioning are the cornerstone of quantitative application of Fengyun Meteorological Satellite. Fengyun Satellite High -precision standard and positioning technology team is responsible for the key core technologies and system development tasks of key core technologies in the field. The team has completed the design and research and development of the standard positioning system of the new generation polar rail and static meteorological satellite in my country, and overcome the satellite high -precision radiation and spectral standards, star land integrated image positioning and standards, satellite orbit observation deviation diagnosis and positive customization. , Satellite spectrum segment simulation technology and other problems, which improves the accuracy and quality of satellite data, effectively supports the application of remote sensing products in the fields of weather, climate, ecological environment, disaster prevention and mitigation.

The 17th China Youth Female Scientist Award was co -organized by the National Women's Federation of China, the China Science and Technology Association, the National Committee of the Chinese United Nations Education and Sciences and L'Oreal China. Satellite cloud maps often meet the public in "Weather Forecast", but the work behind this picture is little known. To improve the level of quantitative application of satellite data, the key is to solve the problem of satellite data setting and positioning. What kind of work is the setting and positioning of satellites?

Simply put, the signal value of satellite observation cannot be used directly, and it needs to be converted into a certain physical quantity to be scientifically applied. This process is the process of setting the standard. The fixed standard is divided into radiation standard and geometric standard. The radiation standard is to convert the original data of satellite observation into the amount of radiation of the earth atmosphere. The geometric standard is to convert the data into the precise latitude and longitude position on the earth. Satellite data can be applied.

In order to do this most basic and most critical step, a large number of scientific and technological workers have devoted themselves to them, and the team leader Qi Chengli is one of them. In 1999, Qi Chengli also studied at the agricultural meteorology of Nanjing Institute of Meteorological (now Nanjing Information Engineering). Occasionally, she saw a report related to Fengyun No. 1 satellite in the "China Meteorological News". This laid a "seed" in her heart. In the senior year, she took courses related to the remote sensing. At this time, she became interested in meteorological satellites, so she resolutely chose to apply for graduate students in the direction of meteorological satellites. From then on, she has formed an inexplicable bond with Fengyun Satellite.

Lai Chengli introduced that everyone in the team chose this job at first, most of them originated from love, and slowly transformed into a responsibility. Wang Jing, born in 1986, is a representative of the team's young power. Under the guidance and influence of the predecessors, she has also grown into a backbone member. In November 1977, with the dawn of reform and opening up, my country's first weather satellite "Fengyun No. 1" entered the project development track. After hard work, on September 7, 1988, Fengyun No. 1 A star successfully launched and obtained the first satellite cloud map, which caused a sensation in the international weather industry. However, due to posture control, the first wind and cloud satellite disappeared into the vast space after only 39 days of working. Later, several satellites also did not work long due to technical reasons. The painful lesson makes meteorological and astronauts even more alert. Sun Jiadong, Zeng Qingcun, Xu Jianmin ... The generation of scientific researchers, I do n’t know how many technical difficulties have been overwhelmed, and how many days and nights have been survived. The C -star, successfully broke through the technical bottleneck of long life and stable operation, so that my country has the ability to provide long -term continuous business observation data. So far, my country has successfully launched 19 Fengyun series meteorological satellites, seven satellite casting capabilities on the global observation capacity, and comprehensive performance has reached the world's advanced level.

Fengyun No. 3 and Fengyun No. 4 are my country's new generation of meteorological satellites. The upgrades of upgrading and positioning have brought unprecedented challenges. The National Satellite Meteorological Center has given full play to the advantages of concentrated power to do major events, aggregate the standards and positioning personnel scattered in various offices, and formed a high -precision setting technology team of Fengyun satellite to focus on key technologies.

There are 16 people in the team, and women account for 50%of women. Qi Chengli uses "meticulous, rigorous, perseverance, and excellence" to describe the team members. Satellite standard and positioning work directly related to the accuracy and stability of the data, pursuing perfection and extreme quality. Taking the accuracy of the infrared band as an example, the accuracy is easy to break through from 1K (Kelvin) to 0.5K, but starting from 0.5K, each fine 0.1k is particularly difficult, so they must "compete" between the slightest to reach 0.1 K's progress.

Everyone in the team has a main attack direction, and every direction has difficulty "hard bones". The main direction of Shangjian is active microwave remote sensing. She believes that the fixed standard and positioning of satellites is a long -term process. The team members must maintain sufficient investment and loyalty to work and have a strong sense of cooperation. Wang Ling attacked the solar reflex wave segment. She felt the deepest spirit of cooperation. Someone guided when she encountered confusion. When she encountered troubles in her life, she could talk to people, making her feel that the team was very warm.

It can be described as "people's hearts move", and these "hard bones" were broken one by one in their perseverance. The infrared high spectrum standard is the main direction of lacquer Chengli. The characteristics of the high spectrometer are characterized by its performance in all aspects than low spectral instruments, and new technologies are required for spectral standards. The precision requirements are around 1K, and the accuracy of the high spectrometer must be less than 1K or even within 0.5K. Previously, this technology in my country was a blank. In 2012, Qi Chengli went to the United States to learn the standard of high spectrometer instruments. In 2013, after returning to China, she and three or four colleagues formed the infrared high spectrometer fixed standards. At this time, there were dozens of members of the infrared high spectrometry team in Europe and the United States. These technologies often need to perform technical research in ten years in advance At that time, the pressure and difficulty of Qili were conceivable. Kung Fu is worthy of the people. In 2017, Fengyun No. 3 was launched, and Qi Chengli successfully completed the standardization technology of the infrared high spectrum and realized the application.

The setting and positioning of active microwave remote sensing also made Shangjian suffer a lot. In July 2021, Fengyun No. 3 E star was launched. It is the world's first civilian morning dusk track meteorological satellite. It has the first domestic dual -frequency dual -polarized wind farm measurement radar. It is the first active detection instrument on the Fengyun series satellite. The standard and positioning of the instrument became a problem. Shang Jian recalled that there was no reference for this technology. It could only peel the cocoons from various complex issues and broke one by one. The hardest time, the team members took office as the home for several months.

After many years of research, the team broke through key technologies such as the fixed standard on the sun reflection wave section, infrared high spectrum radiation and spectrum fixed standard, microwave on orbit and cross -standard, three -axis stable static satellite image positioning and other key technologies. Satellite standard and positioning core software, infrared and solar reflex bands reached 0.2k-1K and 5%, respectively, and the polar rail satellite positioning accuracy reached 0.75 kilometers. Global numerical forecast provides satellite data services.

Pressure and achievement coexist and be tested from time to time.

Qi Chengli said that the Fengyun Meteorological Satellite is a "heavy weapon of the country", and the setting and positioning of satellite data are a work that coexist with pressure and achievement. After the satellite data provided by them, the accuracy and stability of the data can be used directly at home and abroad and in various businesses.

Everyone in the team is in charge of a satellite instrument, and they are called instruments. Any point of abnormalities on a certain instrument on the satellite must be fed back to the instrument leader, and the person instrument leader analyzes it. It is necessary to communicate and negotiate solutions with the instrument developer within 24 hours. In just an hour of the interview, Qili's phone rang 5 times. Qi Chengli said that the workload of the person in charge of the instrument is very large, such as a more than a dozen instruments in a windy meteorological satellite, and each instrument has different developers different developers In the two or three years before the satellite launch, it is necessary to plan from the index planning and feasibility demonstration of the instrument, to the development of the instrument, the indicator review, and the test of the orbit after the satellite launch.

In addition, the team also undertakes a very important task -Fengyun Satellite Future Plan. Due to the huge investment in satellite engineering construction and maintenance, and the application needs to be studied in advance, the team develops the Fengyun satellite observation simulation system to simulate and evaluate satellite observations The application effect of the system and index design is currently being applied to the planning and demonstration of the third -generation Fengyun Meteorological Satellite -Fengyun 5 in my country.

After years of hard work, the team members have become the mainstay in satellite standard and positioning technology development. They have won 12 international and national awards, 10 provincial and ministerial awards, and 3 have been selected as leading talents in the Chinese Meteorological Administration.

In June this year, at the 75th session of the World Meteorological Organization Executive Council, Zhuang Guotai, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Party Group of the China Meteorological Administration, announced that the main data products of Fengyun 3 and Fengyun No. 4 will open cooperation to global users.
