Gu Guobiao's biggest dream is to apply evaporation and cooling technology in the Three Gorges Project. He led the team to study hard. In December 2011, the first 700,000 kilowatt -cooler cooling water wheel generator was successfully operated at the Three Gorges Power Station. This is the world's most capacity evaporation and cooling generator set. It uses my country's "stator winding self -circulating constant temperature evaporation and cooling technology" with completely independent intellectual property rights. At present, two of the 32 generator sets installed in the Sanxia Hydropower Station have used Guo Guobiao's evaporation and cooling technology. And its performance is stable and economical, which greatly extends the service life of the motor.

Gu Guobiao said that the development and application of big data are becoming more and more important, and there are massive data generation every day. This requires more data centers, more servers and more computer rooms. At present, the large data storage volume is large, and the power consumption of the server is a major problem facing the development. The energy consumption constraint problem provides technical support. Applying evaporation and cooling technology in the computer field is superior to traditional water -cooled, air -conditioning cooling. He said that in the future, evaporation and cooling technology will also be useful in the aspects of new energy power distribution and pumping energy.

Give more time for independent innovation

Gu Guobiao said that we must establish the self -confidence of independent research and development and innovation, and we must not always "cottage." Gu Guobiao said that the current evaporation and cooling technology we study is completely independent of innovation without any traces of foreign countries. He pointed out that the current industrialization faces great innovation space facing traditional technologies to high reliability and recycling of recycling, low -end technology to high -tech development and new technologies towards high -efficiency and low maintenance directions. There are two types of innovation, one is theoretical innovation, and the other is technological innovation.
