In June 1948, Jiang Zhuyu, who was engaged in underground work due to the traitor's betrayal, was arrested and was immediately detained to Chongqing Zhaodong Prison. In prison, in the face of the enemy's intimidation and torture, Sister Jiang was always unyielding, clenched her teeth, and actively started the struggle while strictly observing the secrets of the organization. Until November 14, 1949, she was only 29 years old.

Jiang Zhuyu's deeds were written into the novel "Red Rock", and they were successively moved to the stage, screen, and screens. They were widely praised and inspired several generations. In 2009, Jiang Zhuyu was rated as 100 hero model figures and 100 Chinese characters since the founding of New China.
