In 1957, he lived in Dandong, Liaoning. He currently lives in Beijing and has graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts.He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Society, a member of the Chinese Landscape Painting Association, a tutor of the High Research Class of the Tsinghua Academy of FineDirector of the Chief of the Creation Department, Deputy Director of the Art Committee of the Chinese Landscape Painting Creation Academy, director of the China Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, and director of Beijing Celebrity Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
