Blind Traveler's 5th Chinese Contemporary Top Ten Xu Xiake

A person, a blind stick, a pair of sunglasses, seven years, six continents, and 38 countries, he is the blind man Xu Xiake.

He said: Since I can't see the world, let the world see me!

I came to France in 2019 and lived in a small Chinese hotel in the 13th district of Paris. I ca n’t see my eyes, and I do n’t know. I discussed with the manager of Cantonese. I want to visit the Louvre, Champs Elysees Avenue, Eiffel Tower, and Arc de Triomphe.

He was worried that I was in danger, and I told him that I had gone to a dozen countries at that time. I worn my mouth and he was willing to write a note of English and French.

At less than eight o'clock the next morning, I set off. In the first stop of the Louvre, I also took a picture. With the guidance and help of passers -by, I found the staff. I gave him a business card.

When the staff learned that I was a blind person traveling around the world, his tone was very surprised. Not only did he avoid tickets, he personally accompanied me to visit. Pulling my hand and touching a part of the sculpture in the Louvre. There were nine seats in total, more than 20 centimeters tall, and about ten centimeters short. I touched my head, touched my arms, and touched the base and legs. I thought it was carved by stone, and it felt like a resin, and it was like other composite materials. I imagined abstractly in my mind.

After the visit, he hugged me again. It was the beauty of human nature and the care of humanities that prompted me to go on. Later, I shared the experience of visiting many friends, and they told me that no one could touch those sculptures. You can't see it, but it sees you.

On that day, I also went to the Champs Elysées, Eiffel Tower and Triumph. For a day of visit, I needed a few trips to the subway. I took a business card to ask the way. A French girl had been with me. She couldn't understand what she said. She sent me back at 10:30 in the evening and took a group photo with me when leaving. This is the first time that a strange girl took a few trains, sent me back to the residence, and left by itself.

I think kindness and virtue are boundless!
