"You were less than 17 years old when you were on the battlefield. Are you afraid?" "In February 1951, after a few months of training in the Northeast, my comrades and I arrived at Dingzhou Station in North Korea for 3 days. More than 70 years, Liu Xingzhu still clearly remembered the number of the troops that year.

According to his memories, at that time, the weapons of the Volunteer Army were very backward. The weather was minus 30 degrees Celsius. However, Liu Xingzhu, who grew up in a war environment since he was a child, is not afraid of hardships, not afraid of fighting, and not afraid of sacrifice.

Due to the active and curious heart, Liu Xingzhi almost lost his life. Once, the U.S. tank launched a violent attack on the position of the volunteer army. Liu Xingzhu walked to the front line along the traffic and hid in a small pine tree to "watch the war".

Suddenly, the tank's gun tube turned towards the pine tree, and Liu Xingzhu quickly shrank into the machine gun work next to the trenches. "After a second, the pine tree was beaten by the shells."

Pass your shoulders many times

During the two years in North Korea, Liu Xingzhi faced the rain of guns and bombs, passing by many times, but never shrinking. "Many of my comrades -in -arms, sacrificed at a young age on the battlefield." Liu Xingzhi recalled that when we went abroad, we had 198 people in our company, and only 50 were left.

Liu Xingzhu remembered that from October to December 1951, his troops cooperated with friends to attack 394.8 highlands and 281.2 highlands. "In order to find out the enemy's troops and firepower deployment, the commander sent us to catch the 'tongue', that is, the enemy soldiers who captured the captives and speaking." Liu Xingzhu participated in two "grabbing tongue." On the first night, the Volunteer Army climbed to the labor of the enemy in the middle of the mountain. The next night, Liu Xingzhu and his comrades again took the lead: not only to capture the captives, but also to grab the remains of the six comrades who sacrificed the day before. "As soon as we rushed up the mountain, the moon came out, and two enemies wearing helmets found us." Liu Xingzhu said that he rushed in front of the team at the time and killed two enemy forces.

In Liu Xingzhu's memory, in addition to facing the firepower of the enemy, he and his comrades have to withstand the test of the shortage of supplies. What impressed him most was that when he participated in the "Hyoxing Mountain" blocking war, he and his comrades guarded the front of the foot of the mountain. The main position on the mountain to send five bags of flour to the front.

"We agreed that in the middle of the mountains, the five soldiers on each side were handed over." Near the dusk, Liu Xingzhu and his comrades set off.
