On September 19, the Fifth Hospital of Aerospace Science and Technology Group released news that recently, at the 73rd International Aerospace Conference held in Paris, France, my country ’s first Mars Exploration Tianwen No. 1 task team won the 2022 World Aerospace Award at the International Astronautics Federation. The International Aerospace Federation stated that the development team of Tianwen No. 1 provided a successful exploration of Mars, and made outstanding contributions to the development of human Mars exploration cause and deep space detection technology.

Tianwen No. 1 Mars probe was developed by the Fifth Hospital of Aerospace Technology Group. It was successfully launched on July 23, 2020. It was successfully launched on February 10, 2021. After a detailed investigation of the pre -selected landing area, Mars landing was successfully implemented on May 15, 2021. On May 22, 2021, Zhu Rong Mars car successfully drove on the surface of Mars and began to inspect and detect.

Tianwen No. 1 left Chinese marks on Mars for the first time. For the first time, the three goals of Mars surround, landing and inspection through a task marked the entry of my country's advanced ranks in the field of planet exploration.

At present, due to the cold and sandy weather in the landing area, Zhurong Mars cars have entered the winter dormant mode according to the design state. The Tianwen No. 1 widow continues to carry out scientific detection in the remote sensing mission track. As of September 15, 2022, the Tianwen No. 1 widow had been running for more than 780 days, and the Martian car had been driving for 1921 meters to complete the established scientific detection tasks and obtained 1480GB of original scientific detection data. The scientific research team has achieved rich scientific results through the research of first -hand scientific data obtained by my country.

The World Aerospace Award is the highest aerospace award set by the International Aerospace Federation. It aims to recognize individuals or teams that have made outstanding contributions to global aerospace activities in the fields of aerospace science, aerospace technology, aerospace medicine, and aerospace engineering management.
