Xinhua News Agency, Qingdao, September 14th (Reporter Wang Kai and Jiang Yilin) A few years ago, Uzbekistan Girl Malica Olotoova did not expect that he would come from his hometown of Tashan to study thousands of kilometers away from China. Not to think of the "knotting" in China and the SCO.

Study from "Mountain" to "Sea"

After graduating from high school, Malika decided to study abroad. Under the recommendation of relatives and friends, she finally chose China. When it comes to the original intention of coming to Qingdao, she said, "For the mother."

"My hometown has a mountain but does not rely on the sea. My mother wants to see the sea. I want to realize her wish for her." Malica said.

In 2019, Malica successfully applied for scholarships and entered Qingdao University to study Chinese.

For Malica, Qingdao is beautiful, but it is also a little strange. Language is not the first problem she must solve.

"I only studied Chinese before entering the school, and it was difficult to understand at the beginning. At that time, the pressure was really great, and I even thought of giving up." She said.

What makes Malica persist is the help of teachers and classmates. "I was inaccurate, and the teacher helped me to correct it by word; it was difficult to read the text, and the teacher took me to read it, and asked graduate students to guide me to learn Chinese characters and grammar. I was particularly moved to get patient answers, "she said.

"Although Chinese is difficult, it also makes me feel wonderful. I gradually fell in love with this language." Malica said, "China is a new country for me, and the unique customs and customs here attract me."

From "acquaintance" to "kind" big family

Many of the international students from Qingdao University come from SCO countries. Malica said that learning and communicating with everyone is a process of "long -term insights".

"In the classroom, the teacher will let us discuss a certain topic. While we feel cultural differences, we also learn to understand and respect different cultures."

In the spare time, Malica would "exchange cooking skills" with his classmates. "There is an open kitchen in the dormitory building. Students from different countries will cook together. They also invite each other to taste craftsmanship. There is really a feeling of a harmonious family!"

During the study abroad, Malika participated in the 2021 foreign students of the Chinese University of Shandong Province, the Chinese Classic Reading Contest, the 2021 Confucian Classic Cross -Language Reading Conference, and the 21st "Chinese Bridge" World University Student Chinese Competition and other activities. She said that while gaining friendship, she also added learning motivation.

"During the event, I met international students from other schools and shared their opinions with them in China." Malica said, "Seeing many players answered questions in the game, it is fast and accurate. I am envious, and I want to harmonize They are as rich as they are. "

Malika told reporters that although far away from her hometown, her colorful life made her feel no lonely in China.

From "distant" to "perceive" "upper element"

For Malica, the SCO was once a "distant concept." "I just heard of this name, but I don't know much." She said that after coming to Qingdao, I had a deeper understanding of the SCO.

In the summer vacation of this year, the School of Economic and Trade, China -Shanghai Cooperation Organization, located in Qingdao, organized a national new generation of communication technology training courses for "Science and Technology Poverty Alleviation". Malika signed up.

"Training includes very professional content such as the Internet of Things, 5G, and artificial intelligence." Malica believes that the content in the training class is not difficult to understand, but it is very meaningful.

"Some of the students are professionals who can use the knowledge they have learned for their own technology development. Although I don't understand technology, I can use language advantages to help Uzbekistan and Chinese companies find opportunities for cooperation." She said.

This summer, Malika also participated in the 2022 "Summer Summer" China -Shanghai Cooperation Organization National Youth Gala. future".

"The performance effect is particularly good. You can feel that people from different countries pull hands to a better future atmosphere." She recalled.

Not long ago, Malica learned that Qingdao · Shanghezhu International Expo Center, located in the China -Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Zone in China -Shanghai Cooperation Organization, will set up Uzbekistan National Cultural Elements Exhibition Zone. Go to see and introduce them to Uzbekistan's historical culture.

In September this year, the twenty -two -time meeting of the head of the head of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in Samarham, Uzbekistan. "I am glad that this important activity can be held in my motherland. Now, the SCO is no longer far away from me. I am willing to participate in and contribute a force." Malica said.
