The theory has opened up a new field of marine carbon exchange research, and has been commented by the American "Science" magazine as "behind the scenes of the huge carbon storage."

But when everyone was excited to repeat the experiment, they found that how could they not reproduce the results. "Where did something go wrong?"

In order to understand this puzzle, three generations of graduate students and six subject combinations were relayed, and a seven -year scientific research "long -distance running" was opened. In seven years, many episodes have occurred. According to the students participating in the study, once, the original 1,000 -hour experiments were scheduled to be 960 hours, and the equipment suddenly broke. Everyone had to restart the experiment again. The sound of the machine has been repeated in the cold laboratory, and the sound of the machine has been repeated. The experiment lasted from the summer vacation of 2020 to the Spring Festival in 2021.
