In the second year after the journal editor held a seminar, Professor Li Yongxi, as the editorial board of the journal, was suspected of having data fraud. Professor Li was published on the top nano-scientific journal Nature Nanotechnology, an article entitled "Layer-Controlled Single-Crystalline Graphene Film with Stacking Order Via Cu-Si Alloy Formation". There are obvious errors in electronic diffraction data.

Subsequently, Professor Li's team submitted a correction of the dissertation in December 2020 and calmed down the incident.

The top ten editors of the 2019 issue have publicly emphasized the importance of the experimental data, and as the deputy editor of their own, the following year was questioned the data fraud. Although this incident did not affect the journal's trust in Li Yongxi (at present, there is no), it has a great impact on the reputation of the journal.

03 Industry rookie development is rapid

Although the Li Yongxi incident has a certain impact on the reputation of the journal, it is still difficult to hide the glory of ACS Nano as a journal star.

ACS NANO reached 18.027 announced some time ago, ACS Nano reached 18.027. Since its inception in 2007, the impact factor has risen all the way, up 13%compared to 2020. At the end of last year, the American Chemistry Society announced an important decision: Professor Chen Xiaodong, Nanyang University of Science and Technology, Singapore, will officially serve as a new editor of ACS NANO since 2022.
