The cultural level of our country exceeds 218 million

In 2021, there were 529,300 schools at all levels and 291 million students at all levels. Compared with 2012, the school increased more than 6,300 institutions and increased more than 28 million in school students. Among them, there are 207,000 schools in the compulsory education stage and 160 million students in the school, which has achieved comprehensive popularization.

In 2021, the average educational years of the labor age population reached 10.9 years, an increase of 1.0 years from 2012. Among them, the proportion of higher education was 24.9%, an increase of 10.3 percentage points over 2012. The country with a degree of university culture exceeds 218 million.

Course construction of compulsory education sounds and labor and labor is significantly strengthened

In 2021, the national compulsory education stage of sports, art, and labor technology courses reached 674,000, 832,000, and 109,000, respectively, an increase of 55.4%, 52.3%, and 18.3%compared with ten years ago. 95%of schools across the country can guarantee students' physical exercise time every hour, and nearly 87%of students receive art education in primary and secondary schools.

About 50,000 college graduates every year teach in villages primary and secondary schools

In 2021, there were a total of 18.444 million full -time teachers at all levels in the country, an increase of 26.2%over 2012. The problem of insufficient number of teachers has been effectively relieved for a long time. 28 provinces across the country implemented public -funded education in local colleges and universities, and about 50,000 colleges and universities graduates to teach rural primary and secondary schools each year.

Vocational education basically covers all areas of the national economy

In 2021, 5.526 million students were enrolled in higher vocational (college), which was 1.8 times ten years ago. There are more than 1,300 majors and more than 12,000 professional points in vocational schools across the country, which basically covers all areas of the national economy.

The middle and senior vocational schools (excluding technical schools) have cultivated more than 79 million graduates in ten years, providing more than 70%of new practitioners for modern manufacturing, strategic emerging industries and modern service industries.
