The family of Sri Lanka Woman Vishma Sanda Mali sued the Japanese government's first court debate in the Nagoya District Court of Japan. On March 6 last year, Sanda Mali was killed in the abuse of the Institute of Nagoya in the Institute of Entry and Exit of Nagoya, causing great attention from Japanese public opinion. Earlier, on her first anniversary, many people of Japanese insight held a parade to mourn her in many places, and accused the Japanese government who wanted to trample on foreign human rights in Japan.

The tragic poke of Sandemari penetrated the so -called "freedom, equality, and human rights state" of the Japanese government, and revealed the true situation of tens of millions of foreigners suffering, squeezing and discrimination in Japan.

The abuse of abuse in the shelter is frequent

According to data published by the Entry -Exit Store of the Ministry of Justice in Japan, as of the end of June 2021, there were 2.82 million foreigners in Japan, accounting for 2.2%of the Japanese population. Once these foreigners lose their qualifications, they will be forcibly accepted by Japan's immigration management agencies for illegal retention until they are deported. The detention and receiving review process is long and opaque, and the casualties of the shelters are common.

Taking Sanda as an example, she came to Japan with an international student visa in 2017. After the visa was invalidated, she was illegally stranded. In August 2020, she was asked to protect the police due to domestic violence. In half a year, Santa Mari was treated non -human treatment and was lost 20 kilograms. Beginning in January 2021, she repeatedly reported that the stomach pain was required to go out for medical treatment, but they were all rejected. Later The shelter has always been indifferent, and has never even called a first -aid phone call.

After the incident was exposed by the media, Japanese public opinion was uproar. With the high attention of the society and the continuous investigation of the opposition party, the Japanese enrollment department had to conduct internal self -examination, but the final investigation report did not even give the cause of death. The Sanda Mali family filed a lawsuit with the Nagoya District Court on March 4, demanding the truth and claiming 156 million yen to the Japanese government.

The Sanda Maili case is not a case. In June 2019, a Nigerian men's hunger strike in the Great Village Entry Management Center in Nagasaki Prefecture protested until death. The survey shows that the longest of foreigners who have been accepted by Japan's entry into the containment agency have been in the shelter for more than 4 years. In a foreign country, he has been detained for a long time. If you can't see the future, some of the detained people collapse and commit suicide, and some of them should not be treated. The UN human rights agency has repeatedly warned the Japanese government, but the Japanese side did not take any improvement measures.

Exploitation Squeeze Foreign Skills Intern

The Japanese government established a foreigner's skill internship system in 1993, allowing developing countries to sign contracts with enterprises after the training of Japan and learn technology while working.

This system claims to allow foreign interns to bring the skills learned back to China and promote the economic development of developing countries. However, in fact, skill intern is often used to make up for the lack of local labor when coming to Japan. Living and dangerous work can only receive meager salary, and you can't learn special skills at all. This system has been criticized as "pretending to be a legal modern slave labor system", and the call for the cancellation of the system is endless.

According to data released by the Ministry of High School of Labor and Labor in August 2016, 70 % of the Japanese employers who were investigated by 5,173 foreign skilled interns in 2015 violated Labor Standards Law or Labor Safety and Health Law. Although the Japanese House of Representatives adopted the "Foreigner Skills Internship System Standardization Law", which aims to improve skill interns' treatment in October 2016, skill interns have still encountered cruel crushing and even violent treatment.

During the reconstruction process of the "March 11" earthquake and the Fukushima nuclear leak in 2011, local employers allowed Vietnamese skill intern to engage in nuclear pollution work, but never conducted nuclear radiation safety education. These Vietnamese interns know nothing about work.

In January of this year, a Japanese trade union organization exposed a video of a foreign worker being abused, causing a Japanese society to vibrate. The Vietnamese skill intern who worked in a construction company in Okayama, Japan has been insulted and abused by Japanese colleagues for two consecutive years.

Disclosure of discrimination

For foreigners, Japanese society also has deep discrimination and prejudice. Even the Tokyo, which had just held the Olympic Games and tried to show its openness last year, due to the differences in language, culture, religion, and living habits, local people's discrimination and prejudice of foreigners were everywhere.

A survey of foreigners announced in Japan in 2017 in Japan's Ministry of Justice shows that among foreigners who have experienced or work experience in the past five years, a quarter of which has been rejected due to the identity of foreigners, and about 20%of the salary is low. The Japanese who work at the same job, more than 10%of the labor conditions are worse than the Japanese. Nearly 40%of the foreigners who have experienced housing in the past 5 years have been refused to move in for foreigners. Today, there are barber shops in Japan who refuse to serve foreigners and small hotels to prohibit foreigners from staying in. Foreigners have been treated unreasonable. It is no longer a "secret" in the Japanese workplace. Even if they do well, it is difficult to get in important positions.

The United Nations Elimination of the Racial Discrimination Committee expressed serious concern on the lack of special anti -discrimination laws in Japan and the lack of special anti -discrimination laws in Japan and the issue of racial discrimination in Japanese society.

In 2016, the committee once again pointed out that Japan has serious racial discrimination problems: "Since 2003, more than 360 racism demonstrations and speeches have occurred in Japan. Speaking, preaching racial superior theory ... wantonly derogation, harassment, and provocation of foreigners ... but the Japanese authorities have not punished their behavior accordingly, which makes the problem more and more serious.
