White House: Biden will attend

According to the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), Senior White House officials confirmed to NBC reporters on September 9 local time that US President Biden will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.

One day before, Biden and the first lady issued a statement on the death of the British Queen Elizabeth II on the official website of the White House.In the statement, Biden said the Queen Elizabeth II "defined a era" and expressed his expectation to continue to maintain intimate friendship with the British king and the queen.
