According to Reuters, on September 17, local time, Senegal President Sale appointed former Economic and Financial Minister Ama Duda as the new Prime Minister.

Ama Duda is 61 years old. From 2013 to 2019, he served as the Minister of Economy and Finance, and also served as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
