Wang Yi said that three years ago, China held the first Middle East Security Forum, which contributed consensus and wisdom to maintain and promote the security of the Middle East. In the past three years, the concept of adhering to multilateralism and opposition to unilateralism has become more popular in the Middle East; the voices of chairing fairness and dominance against hegemony are even more loud in the Middle East; the propositions that promote development and cooperation and protect common security are rooted in the Middle East; Enhance understanding and trust in the Middle East has achieved good progress. Under the new situation, based on the actual situation of the Middle East and the changes in the international environment, we adopt systematic and forward -looking thinking to jointly resolve the security challenges of the Middle East and promote the long -term security of the Middle East.

Wang Yi emphasized that in 2018, President Xi Jinping proposed to build a common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable Middle East security structure at the opening ceremony of the Eighth Ministerial Meeting of the China -Arabic Works Forum, and put forward important ideas for cracking down on the safety of the Middle East. In April of this year, President Xi Jinping proposed a global security initiative to clearly answer the issue of how to achieve common security of various countries, which is of great significance to promote the stability of the Middle East and Pingxian. China is willing to take the opportunity to implement the global security initiative and jointly promote the construction of a new structure of the Middle East with the countries of the Middle East and the international community. Wang Yi made four suggestions on this:

The first is to adhere to the new concept of common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable. We must adhere to the common safety concept of common safety, attach importance to the reasonable and safe concerns of various countries, and should not seek absolute safety. We must pay attention to comprehensive policies, not only in response to traditional security threats, but also non -traditional security challenges such as epidemics, food, and energy. We must seek sustainable safety, resolve contradictions through development, and eliminate unsafe soil.

The second is to clarify the leading position of the Middle East country. The people of the Middle East are the masters of the future and fate of the region. With the spirit of independence and self -strengthening in the Middle East, China supports the regional security structure that meets regional reality and takes into account the interests of all parties, and explores a road of Changzhi Jiu'an with characteristics of the Middle East.

The third is to abide by the purpose and principles of the United Nations Charter. To implement the UN Security Council's resolutions on the problem of solving hotspots in the Middle East, especially the Palestinian issues, support the United Nations' mediation efforts. It is necessary to maintain the international order based on international law, and the basic criteria for international relations based on the purpose and principles of the United Nations Charter. It is necessary to abandon hegemonic bullying and oppose unilateral sanctions and "long -arm jurisdictions" that have not been authorized by the United Nations.

The fourth is to strengthen regional security dialogue.
