"The wind and waves are too big, the coach is far from me, scared, the brain is buzzing, and I dare not think about more things." Li Yueqi recalled that the experience improved the psychological quality a lot.

In the eyes of the coach, Li Yueqi not only trained hard and boldly, but also "strong perception of the wind" is also her advantage. After the theoretical knowledge and navigation, she obtained the "silver" level sailing skills certificate in October 2018.

In May 2019, the Second National Youth Games Sailing Project Competition was held in Qinhuangdao. Li Yueqi ushered in the first sailing race in life. More than 30 young players from all over the country raised sails, and in the end she ranked third.

"The first feeling is sad, it is very lost. Sometimes I deny themselves. I feel that I am also working hard. Is it not suitable for practicing this project?" After the short period of low, Li Yueqi began to work hard.

In the past three years, Li Yueqi has won the Hebei Youth Sailing Championship and the Qinhuangdao International Sailing Race. At present, Li Yueqi and his teammates are preparing for the 16th Games of Hebei Province.

Li Yueqi said: "I love the sailing movement, and even if I can't become a professional player to fight for the country, I will hone the strong will to arm myself and always love it."
