The Civil Code stipulates that if the parties or service information published by the parties through the Internet and other information networks meet the requirements of the offer, the other party chooses the product or service and submits the order to the contract to be established, except for the parties. Therefore, the product information posted on the website, such as the unit price, quantity, quality, etc., because of the basic elements of the contract, and publicize it to consumers through the website. After the consumer confirms the order, it is a commitment. At this time, the sales contract is established. The seller shall strictly perform its obligations in accordance with the contract, otherwise it shall bear the corresponding responsibilities. However, it should be noted that many businesses will make special agreements on the website during online shopping. If merchants can unilaterally cancel orders, such clauses usually belong to the format terms. Merchants must fulfill their prompts and explanation obligations to consumers. Otherwise, such clauses will not become the content of the contract.
