In a villager's house in Dongsheng Village, the inspection team saw that the number of tap water that had been rusty was "0". The villagers of Guanghua Village reported that a set of water drinking projects had been built earlier, but they never passed the water.

The inspection team learned that since 2005, Puyang City has invested 220 million yuan in funds and 579 centralized water supply projects were built. While investing a lot of funds and material resources, some villagers are still in difficulty in drinking water safety. Some villagers still have to pick water a few kilometers away.

At present, the newly -built water supply projects since 2005, 28%of the operation is average, and 7%of operations are difficult to collect, and 5%are idle. The inspection team believes that the lack of feasibility demonstration in the early stage of the construction of local rural drinking water projects and lack of maintenance management after completion.

Puyang City said that it will take the opportunity of the State Council's overall inspection, make a reform of the problems discovered, and take practical measures to ensure that the rectification is in place. The water supply project of the countryside and the water supply project of Dongsheng Village is actively soliciting the opinions of the masses. All the needs of the masses will restore water supply.
