According to the Associated Press, former 69 -year -old Malaysian Prime Minister Najib was imprisoned for 12 years for a number of corruption. This ruling made Najib the first former prime minister in Malaysia to serve in prison. He will lose the identity of the parliament and the opportunity to run again unless he has forgive Malaysia's top head for pardon.
