During the visit, the reporter found that with the expansion of the domestic new energy vehicle market, related automotive parts have become new growth hotspots. Many companies have begun to increase investment and lay out in advance to meet future needs.

Zhang Feng is the person in charge of a cooling water pump company in Wuhu. He told reporters that the products produced by the company mainly include the main water pump of the automotive engine cooling machine, and the electronic cooling water pump of the new energy vehicle.

Zhang Feng said that compared to fuel vehicles, only one engine cooling mechanical main water pump is needed, a new energy vehicle often needs 2 to 5 electronic pumps.

As the sales of new energy vehicles continue to increase, the new energy vehicle parts they produce have been ranked at the end of next year. Although the existing 7 production lines have been operating at full load, there are still more and more order requirements. Therefore, this company has begun to expand the production of existing factories, and 13 automated production lines will be put into production.

In addition, because of the development of the market, the investment of new energy vehicle power battery materials in Wuhu, Anhui is also accelerating. A first phase of project investment is 2.9 billion yuan, and the new energy material project with an annual output of 50,000 tons of iron phosphate has been close to the ending work. It is expected to be put into production at the end of September.
