Analysts pointed out that the main reason for the decline in the decline in natural gas exports to African independent countries in the first eight months of Russia is related to Russia's reduction in European gas supply.

Affected by the Ukraine crisis, the European Union planned to reduce Russia's natural gas imports by about 100 billion cubic meters by the end of this year, a decrease of nearly two -thirds.According to data from the International Energy Agency, in 2021, the EU imported from Russia to Russia to 155 billion cubic meters, accounting for about 45%of the total natural gas imports of the EU and 40%of the total consumption.
