This means that the "Tong'an Hub Station-Xiamen North Station" BRT new line is expected to open the operation at the end of this year.

"Together with the right direction of Xiamen" BRT viaduct project is an important part of the Jimei Bridge Bridge Traffic Transformation Project. It is reported that the BRT viaduct is 247 meters in length and connects the Binhai West Avenue BRT viaduct and the Lehai Road BRT viaduct. It is an important public transportation channel for Tong'an BRT to reach Xiamen North Station.

According to Yang Rakai, the person in charge of the project, the project is located in the intersection of Jimei Bridge Bridge, which is extremely busy in transportation. In order to shorten the construction period and reduce the impact of existing transportation, prefabricated steel box beams are lifted. At present, the BRT viaduct has completed the construction of the lower pile foundation and is undergoing pier pillars. In October, the steel box beam was lifted. It is expected to be completed in December and will be put into operation as soon as possible.

According to the relevant person in charge of Xiamen Public Transport Group Express Bus Operation Company, after the BRT viaduct project is completed, it is planned to open a new line of "Tong'an Hub Station-Xiamen North Station" at the end of this year. It is reported that after the opening of the new line, it will alleviate the problems in the direction of the Tong'an City Citizen to Xiamen North Station. "At that time, take the BRT to Xiamen North Station from Tongan. It is expected to save about 15 minutes by car. Citizens will be more convenient to travel." The person in charge said.
