According to Tang Jie, the person in charge of the research center, this operation is the first time after the research center's establishment. In this operation, the research center plans to use Yangshan Port as a typical area, relying on the detected high -resolution wind farm data to enhance the impact on the wind farm of the complex terrain of the coastal port area, and use this as a dependent on typhoon as the typhoon as the typhoon. Earlier, the Research Center has deployed a floating laser meter radar on each surface of Shanghai Jinshan and Wenzhou Ruian to specifically detect the information of sea wind farms and capture the changes in local meteorological and hydrological data. According to the observation data on September 3, the largest wind of the sea near Wenzhou Ruian reaches level 8, and Jinshan Hangzhou Bay has also monitored the level 6-7.

Yesterday, three laser radar and 1 windline radar were deployed in Yangshan Port District and Lingang New Terminal area. These four equipment have been officially operated on September 4th, and timely grasp the evolution of wind and wind direction, level and vertical wind speed changes, turbulent characteristics and other atmospheric wind farm information, monitoring the 8 -level wind on the sea near the port. At present, relevant monitoring work is still undergoing. In addition, the Research Center also makes full use of the new satellite and other equipment to observe the characteristics and trajectories of the typhoon in a large area from a macro perspective.

Relevant staff said that the operation will obtain valuable first -hand data for the impact of the coastal cities of Typhoon Lingang New Area. These data have a significant advantage of large -scale, high -precision, high time and space resolution, etc., which will enhance the understanding of the new area of ​​Lingang, especially near the wind farm near Yangshan Port.
