At 12:52 on September 5, 2022, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in the 6.8 kilometers near Luding and Mo Town (29.59 degrees north latitude, 102.08 degrees east longitude), and the depth of the earthquake was 16 kilometers.The Sichuan Province Earthquake Resistance Headquarters has launched a secondary emergency response.

The Office of the Sichuan Earthquake Resistance Headquarters immediately dispatched emergency administration bureaus such as Ganzi Prefecture and Luding County, and personnel casualties and house damage are being verified.At the same time, the working group was sent to the scene to deal with it; coordinating the Provincial Fire Rescue Corps immediately transferred 30 people in the Luding County Qianju Group to the earthquake to check the disaster.
