At 12:52 on September 5, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred near Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan. Local residents said that they immediately ran into the empty place outside the house after they felt the vibration. According to the formal determination of the China Earthquake Network, at 12:52 on September 5th, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan (29.59 degrees north latitude, 102.08 degrees east longitude), and the depth of the earthquake was 16 kilometers.

A hotel owner of Luding County told Jimu Journalist that at that time, she was running out of the house immediately after feeling the shock, and heard the sound of "Ding Ding Dang".

Another resident of the county said that when the earthquake came, she was doing nucleic acid testing in the square, and felt a strong shock in a short time, and many people ran to the square to avoid the earthquake.
