At 12:52 on September 5, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, causing major casualties.In view of the serious disaster, the Office of the State Council's Earthquake Rescue Headquarters and Emergency Management Department have raised the national earthquake emergency response level to the second level.The National Disaster Reduction Commission and Emergency Management Department raised the national disaster relief response level to level III.
