Female leadership is the theme of high attention in the international community. Focusing on the theme of "Youth and Women's Leadership", the author's investigation team conducted a focus group survey on the Master of Communication and Women's Direction of Communication University of China from 2018 to 2022. 49 (45 of them). The survey found that the interviewees had a clear cognitive difference in the connotation of "female leadership"; the interviewees had three different attitudes of whether they were willing to act as a leadership position, resolutely resisting and flexible negotiation; It is necessary to enhance women's leadership and whether the society needs to establish corresponding cultural and mechanisms. The respondents also had three different claims: "just demand theory", "soft demand" and "bomb demand".

Understanding the difference in female leadership

The respondents responded to the answer to "how to understand women's leadership" and "whether they are willing to act as leaders" and "whether they are willing to participate in leadership to enhance training."

The first advocates that the proposal of female leadership continues the concept of "different men and women": on the one hand, traditional and deeply believes that only the concept of male leadership needs to be corrected, and on the other hand Different characteristics and theories of men need to be studied. Therefore, interviewees who hold this view generally choose to actively receive the post and leadership of leaders and leadership.

The similar point of view of this is that female leadership is a ability to lead women when organizing and mobilizing various tasks. It is an opportunity to perform women's talents. Some interviewees are willing to assume the mission of the times and serve as leaders and participating in leadership training. But at the same time, some interviewees also talked about because of the leadership positions because of competition but because of the protection of mechanisms, they gave people a woman who may have no competitiveness in actual ability. In this case, they do not want to serve as a leader, and they do not want to be labeled "protected" or "balance needs".

There is also a view that a few people are proposed, but they are very forward -looking. The framework for their understanding (female) leadership can be the confrontation and interaction between self and external, which reflects the cognition and practice of hierarchical relationships and interpersonal relationships. , Social force exercise and improvement. The former is a leading position, and the latter can not play a leader's position, but can exert influence between groups and various relationships. Interviewees holding this view believe that the leader can also be a ability that can show as long as it can show in various tasks and cooperate with others, and it can be self -authorized. These respondents have a flexible negotiation attitude towards whether they are willing to serve as leaders and participate in leadership training. There is a different attitude towards the position of leadership

It is worth thinking about that all interviewees have experienced the experience of class cadres, and quite a lot of interviewees also have experience in school -level cadres and community leaders. However, when talking about the trust of women as leaders, there are still interviewees admit that they have not hesitated to choose a boy instead of girls as their replacement, because she thought that "boys were more reliable and more reliable than girls than girls at that time. Dangerous. In addition, some interviewees talked about the leadership positions that they won the important work to other boys, although they won the leadership position through the campaign. The leadership position did not nourish it, but confirmed the unwavering gender stereotype.

In addition, some interviewees believe that although they have worked as cadres, they did not feel that the leadership ability has improved. And sometimes leadership positions do not need competition, so I did not particularly eager to improve the needs of leadership capabilities.

In response to whether young people need to improve women's leadership and whether society needs to establish corresponding cultural and mechanism issues, some interviewees have proposed "rigid theory" from the perspective of the overall situation: they believe that "glass ceiling" or "maze" for a long time for a long time Internal and many areas are common. Women must rely on supporting and inclined policies to get rid of the disadvantaged position as a whole. Although women have various influencing factors as leaders and women to enhance leadership, mechanism guarantee and cultural construction It must be carried out. Opportunities, equality in process, and equality of results are "just needed." For many women, they have this opportunity without using it, and they have no such opportunity at all. This is a two -code thing. Moreover, only with cultural encouragement and policy support, more and more women can have the confidence "one step forward", showing the style and influence.

Some interviewees have proposed "soft needs": that is, they can advocate but do not have to force certain requirements and goals. Because even if women enter the leadership ratio, they cannot guarantee fundamental changes in women's leadership status, nor can it guarantee that women's leadership is improved. After all, if you deliberately emphasize formal correctness, will it also impacted with really willing and capable competitors? Some interviewees have proposed the "bomb needs": the same as other groups, the same difference between individual differences than gender. It is necessary to distinguish the needs of different individuals and formulate different solutions. These interviewees have proposed to be vigilant about the standards for improving female leadership. It does not necessarily "improve" is "good", "positive" and "positive", and it must be "bad", "one -sided" and "backward". The approach that requires that the leadership must improve the leadership itself is worth thinking about.
