Chinese Academy of Sciences: 1 staff member of Chengdu Mountain Institute was injured by 3 people who were killed

According to the voice of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, at 12:52 noon on September 5, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding, Sichuan, causing the observation test stations of the Ganggama Ecosystem of Gongga Mountain Ecosystems at the Institute of Gongga Mountain Ecosystem in the Institute of Gongga Mountain, near the earthquake.The name in the station lost contact.

After the earthquake, the Chinese Academy of Sciences immediately launched an emergency response. The main leaders of the Chengdu Mountain Institute took the team to the Gongga Mountain Station to participate in the on -site rescue.

After preliminary verification, it is currently confirmed that one person is unfortunately killed and three persons are injured, and the remaining 14 personnel are safe.The victims were Liu Mou, a graduate student of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who participated in the scientific research work at the station.

Chengdu Mountains and National University of Science and Technology have carried out contacts and resettlement of families of the victims, and psychological rescue of survivors.We deeply sorry for the unfortunate death of Liu, and expressed sincere thanks to the forces participating in the rescue!
