A few days ago, the "Xiamen City Flood Control and Typhoon Emergency Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") has changed. Yesterday morning, Lan Guixing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Xiamen Municipal Emergency Administration, answered Xiamen's government hotline to interpret the revision of the "Plan" in detail.

In order to enable the city's defensive rain and flood emergency response level to connect with the "Flood and Typhoon Emergency Plan" in Flood Control and Typhoon Flood Control in Fujian Province, and corresponds to the warning of the meteorological department. The response work is more standardized.

According to Lan Guixing, the new "Plan" adjusted the original defensive rain and flood emergency response to 3 levels to 4 levels according to the severity and scope of the heavy rain, from low to high to ⅳ, III, Ⅱ, and Ⅰ. At the same time, considering that there are differences in the rainstorms in all parts of the city, such as heavy rain in the mountains outside the island, but the island is high -rown. Therefore, the emergency response to preventing heavy rain irrigation in various districts continues to implement differentiated management.

In terms of typhoons, the city's defensive typhoon emergency response still maintains 4 levels. As a tropical cyclone, the larger the diameter of the typhoon, the larger the range of the wind and rain areas. Most typhoon diameter is 600 kilometers -1000 kilometers. Therefore, in combination with the smaller reality of the city's jurisdiction, the revision of the "Plan" has canceled the emergency response of typhoon disaster disasters in various districts, and the city implements a unified response to the emergency response of typhoon disasters.
