At 18:00 on September 5th, 5 hours after the "9.5" Luding earthquake occurred, the Deyang Fire Rescue Detachment arrived at the station in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture to carry out rescue. After receiving the feedback from the local masses, there were three people who were trapped in Tianchi Village in Town, and Deyang Fire immediately carried out rescue work.

On the night of the 5th, Deyang Fire Fighting used the drone with the local guide to determine the place where the masses were trapped, and contacted the trapped person through lights and shouts. The feedback of the drone shows that one of the three trapped people have one old man with injuries in his legs.

At 7 o'clock on September 6, Deyang Fire Fire and Ganzi Fire formed a 16 -member assault team. He carried food, water, cold clothes, and rescue materials such as stretchers, ropes, and medicines to search for rescue people. At 10:46, after more than 3 hours of climbing search and rescue, the assault team searched the trapped old man. After a preliminary examination of inquiries, the commando learned that the trapped old man was about 80 years old, his eyes were blind, and his back and legs were injured to varying degrees during the evacuation process. Because the elderly could not walk, the road was steep, and the transfer was difficult. The assault team decided to fix the elderly on the multi -function stretcher and adopt the method of building a rope road protection. A group of four people took turns to carry the old man down the mountain.

Due to the wide search scope in the early stage, before finding the elderly, the first batch of rescue forces of the assault team had been on foot of nearly 20 kilometers, losing a lot of physical strength, and the speed of transferring the elderly down the mountain was significantly slowed down.

At 13:40, in order to send the old man down the mountain as soon as possible, the assault team reinforced the second batch of forces; at 15:50, the two teams met "handling the class" and relayed the elderly.

At around 18:00, after 11 hours of fighting, the assault players hike for about 35 kilometers, and finally the 80 -year -old man who is trapped in Tianchi Village, Texing Town has successfully transferred down the mountain.
