At the meeting, Wang Shaohua, the leader of the expert team of the autonomous region's epidemic prevention and control work, introduced the overall situation and characteristics of the epidemic situation in the autonomous region.

On July 30, since a new round of epidemic in our district, it quickly spread to 37 counties (cities, districts) in 13 places (states, cities) in the district, and 13 regiments in 4 divisions of the Corps. As of 24:00 on September 8, the district (including the Corps) reported a total of 5,728 infected people, of which 137 were diagnosed and 5,591 cases were asymptomatic. The youngest is the youngest in January, the maximum of 97, and the median age is 37 years. This epidemic is by far the largest and most wide range of epidemic in our region.

Since the epidemic, under the strong leadership of party committees and governments at all levels of the autonomous region, after the previous stage of unremitting efforts, the high incidence of the epidemic situation in our district has been effectively curbed, and the number of new reports infected has continued to decline, and the scope of affection has narrowed.

As of September 8th, the 13 prefectures (cities) of the epidemic in this round, the Hetian region, the Altay region, the Aksu area, the Kashgar area, the Kashi, Bozhou, and Hami city There are no new local infected reports for 14 days; Turpan City has reported for 13 consecutive days.

The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps has reportedly reported no new infected infection for 17 consecutive days.

There have been 24 counties (cities, districts) for more than 14 days without reporting from local infection, and basically resume normal production and living order.

At 24:00 on September 8th, there were 122 cases of diagnosis and discharge in the region, and 5056 cases were observed in isolation of asymptomatic infection, accounting for 90%of the total number of reporters.

There are still new infected people in Urumqi and Ili Prefecture, and there are risk of social communication. In the past three days, Urumqi new infections are distributed in Tianshan District, Shuimi Gully area, high -tech zone, and Midong District.

After the report of the infected person without a new infection of Balla, the city of Korla, Bazhou, has recently rebounded in the epidemic, and there is a risk of social communication, but the epidemic is generally controllable.
