On September 9th, in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, the Stockholm Chinese Cultural Center "China Weifang Kite Exhibition" met with local audiences.

"This exhibition is very popular in Stockholm. On the day of the opening ceremony, because of the epidemic, we wanted to control the number of attendees to 50 people, and the result was 80. The guests asked for children and friends to participate." On September 11th, China stationed Chen Xiao, Counselor of the Swedish Embassy and Director of the Chinese Cultural Center of Stockho, told reporters through WeChat audio calls.

The exhibition is held in an 400 -year -old ancient building next to the "King Garden" in the city center. It is hosted by the Stockholm Chinese Cultural Center and the Weifang Kite Museum of Weifang City in Shandong Province. In more than 300 square meters of space, dozens of pictures of Chinese kites and dozens of Chinese kites with a Weifang boutique kite and mounting on the scroll of Chinese paintings are vivid and lifelike.

Cui Aimin, a Chinese ambassador to Sweden, explained the cultural connotation of Chinese kites at the scene. He said that the Chinese kite has a history of more than 2,400 years, which contains the Chinese philosophical concept of "unity of heaven and man". It is rich and childlike, and uses folk stories, auspicious birds and beasts, etc., to express the desire to pursue peace and happiness. There are many connected cultural traditions and philosophy of China and Switzerland. The two sides work together, and the cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries will be further developed.

Judging from Chen Xiao's photos, the audience was very interested in the kite. In front of a lively big tiger -shaped kite, a middle -aged man stopped watching and was interested, as if studying how the tiger's head, tiger body, and front legs were combined. Three Swedish children who have just been invited to perform music programs have their own gifts, goldfish, and bee kites, and excitedly let the staff teach them how to release them.

"Ambassador Cui Aimin has been to Weifang, and he is impressed by Weifang Kite. He believes that the colorful image of Chinese kites and the cultural connotation contained in the Chinese kite may resonate with the Swedish people. Soon after he arrived, he proposed to hold a Weifang kite exhibition." Chen Xiao told reporters that they contacted the Shandong Provincial Department of Cultural Travel and Weifang Cultural Tourism Bureau to receive strong support. Dozens of kite works soon were transported to Sweden.

"Weifang is the hometown of kite. Weifang kite has a long history and rich cultural connotation. Weifang has spared no effort to promote kite culture. Zhou Yan, head of the Marketing Division of the Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau, told reporters.

"We have chosen a skewers, a string dragon head, a hard -winged Zheng Banqiao 'rare confused', a hard -winged Hongfu Qi Tianyan, a board -style Sun Wukong carried a banana fan, a soft -winged parrot, a dragonfly, a brocade chicken, an eagle, a Jiayan, covered Traditional Weifang kite types such as soft wings, hard wings, skewers, plate -type, and plate -type. "Li Naiang, head of the Weifang Kite Museum, said that in order to fully display the Chinese kite culture, they also selected pictures of fine kite works in Beijing, Tianjin, Nantong, and Xi'an , Details one by one to indicate information such as the name of the kite, the production process, the characteristics of the genre, and the cultural implication.

The authors of these 11 physical works are the fourth -generation representative inheritor of the fourth generation of traditional kites in Weixian County, the fourth -generation representative inheritor of the Weixian, which is the author of the Internet celebrity kite "China Space Station" not long ago. He said that these kites are hand -made, which can reflect the design, painting, and techniques of Weifang's traditional kite. The "China Space Station" theme kite has no "going to sea" because it is too inconvenient to transport.

Li Naigang felt that the staff of Stockholm China Cultural Center spared no effort to prepare for high -quality exhibitions. From the determination of the previous kite exhibition plan, the collation of the kite cultural data, to the selection of kite exhibits, and the display site of the exhibition, they constantly communicate with Weifang, for fear of missing.

"I often think that Luban, who was the first person to make a kite before 2400 years ago, what was the mood when he let the kite fly?" Local audiences have issued invitations. She said that autumn, like spring, is the season that is most suitable for kite. "Next autumn, we continue to host the Kite Festival and invite everyone to release the beautiful kite together!"
