Hengshui: National Forest City Creation of various indicators has basically reached national evaluation standards

The reporter learned from the press conference held by the Hengshui Municipal Government News Office today (September 14) that the establishment of various indicators of the national forest city of Hengshui City has basically reached national evaluation standards.

Wang Jianzhao, a investigator of the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of Hengshui City, introduced that this year, Hengshui City conscientiously implemented the deployment of the provincial party committee and the provincial government on the "three overall planning, three expansion and four creations", and firmly established and practiced green water and green mountains. The concept of Yinshan has closely focused on the construction of the Beijing -Tianjin -Hebei ecological environment support area, scientifically and accurately carried out land greening, and solidly and effectively promoted the creation of forest cities. As of now, Hengshui City has completed a total of 222,800 mu of forestry, accounting for 178.2%of the annual tasks. Among them, 33,400 acres of afforestation and greening were completed, accounting for 133.6%of the annual tasks; 189,400 acres were completed, accounting for 189.4%of the annual tasks. The total forests in Hengshui have continued to increase, the layout of the forest has gradually become reasonable, the ecological environment has improved significantly, and the national forest cities have basically reached national evaluation standards. Hengshui City and Zaoqiang, Wuyi, Shenzhou, Raoyang, Hometown, and Fucheng have won the title of "Hebei Forest City", respectively.
