In the first 8 months, the import and export of foreign trade in Fujian Province increased by 10.6%

According to the statistics of Fuzhou Customs, in the first eight months of this year, the import and export of foreign trade in Fujian Province was 1.32 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.6%over the same period last year (the same below). Among them, exports were 806.11 billion yuan, an increase of 16.4%; imports were 512.58 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6%.

General trade has maintained double -digit growth. In the first eight months, the general trade import and export of Fujian Province was 1.01 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.2%, accounting for 76.8%of the total foreign trade import and export value of Fujian Province during the same period. During the same period, the processing trade imports and exports were 159.65 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5%, accounting for 12.1%. The import and export of bonded logistics was 96.28 billion yuan, an increase of 19.6%, accounting for 7.3%.

Private enterprises' import and export leads to grow. In the first eight months, the import and export of private enterprises in Fujian Province was 717.41 billion yuan, an increase of 12.9%, accounting for 54.4%of the total foreign trade import and export value of Fujian Province during the same period, an increase of 1.1 percentage points compared with the same period last year. The import and export of foreign -invested enterprises was 306.63 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8%, accounting for 23.3%. The import and export of state -owned enterprises was 293.51 billion yuan, an increase of 10.3%, accounting for 22.3%.

The top three trading partners have grown rapidly. In the first eight months, Fujian Province's import and export of ASEAN 272.57 billion yuan, an increase of 18.7%; import and export of US was 18.224 billion yuan, an increase of 22.2%; the import and export of the EU was 163.1 billion yuan, an increase of 25%. The above three accounts for 46.9%of the total foreign trade import and export value of Fujian Province during the same period. During the same period, the import and export of the countries along the “Belt and Road” was 477.75 billion yuan, an increase of 18.7%; the import export of RCEP trading partners was 437.01 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4%.

The main product exports have increased well. In the first eight months, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Fujian Province was 297.31 billion yuan, an increase of 16.9%, accounting for 36.9%of the total foreign trade export value of Fujian Province during the same period. The export of labor -intensive products was 256.13 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%, accounting for 31.8%. The export of agricultural products was 56.63 billion yuan, an increase of 25.7%, accounting for 7%.

The average import price of commodities rose significantly. In the first eight months, coal, crude oil, and natural gas were imported by 33.853 million, 9.572 million, and 1.5 million tons, respectively, a decrease of 11.2%, 13.9%, and 13%, respectively, and the average import price rose 71.6%, 61.5%, and 61.5%, respectively.
