When he picked up a brush desk to paint, 70 -year -old Li Junjie was no longer an ordinary farmer. He was serious about a paradise who lived in a mountain forest.

Jilin Dongfeng County and Shanghai Jinshan District and Shaanxi Huxian (now Xi'an City) are also known as the hometown of the three major farmers' paintings in China. After a hundred years of painting, Dongfeng Farmers' Painting has developed from folk paper -cutting, New Year's paintings, colorful shed paintings, etc. Most of them depict the changes in the lives of the northeast rural people.

Li Junjie is one of the founders of Dongfeng farmers' paintings. Many of his works were exhibited in Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, Japan and other countries, allowing the world to glimpse the development of the northeast villages in Northeast China.

According to Li Junjie, his grandfather and father are all clever folk artists. Under the influence of the family, he was interested in folk art when he was a child. At the age of 15, Li Junjie received more formal art training, and painting skills were greatly improved.

After returning to his hometown, Li Junjie led a rural mass art group with 8 members and 15 students. The folks often gathered together to practice painting skills. To this day, Li Junjie has painted farmers' paintings for 55 years.

Right now, Li Junjie is drawing a long volume of 23 meters, and the scene of the Northeast villagers setting up New Year's goods jumping on paper. "I have lived in the countryside for many years, and every place is inspiration." Li Junjie said that he still insists on painting every day.

"I use my life to draw farmers' paintings." Li Junjie said that in his creative career, the longest scroll was 30 meters and was collected by foreign countries many years ago. Over the years, he has been committed to sending farmers' paintings to the world and has been involved in more than ten countries.

The charm of Dongfeng farmers' paintings lies in the strong Kanto style. Farmers take root in soil and use brushes to paint the thinking of labor. They don't pay attention to the technique of the college work, but focus on expressing the truth of life. Farmers picked up the hoe planting fields when the farmers were busy, and writing and painting when they were leisurely. This has become a landscape in the local area.

As of now, 185 works have been collected by the Chinese Art Museum, and more than 600 works have been collected by the United Nations headquarters and world -renowned art galleries.

In addition, relying on the creative talents composed of 21 farmers 'painters, the local farmers' painting creation room and tourist service center covering an area of ​​1,200 square meters are also established. The farmer's studio opens farmers' painting creation experience projects to effectively enhance the sense of views and experience, so that tourists can see the painting towns and think of their hometown.

In 2021, more than 5,000 tourists who came to Dongfeng Farmers' Painting Village to punch cards in the Dongfeng Farmers Painting Village, cumulatively drove the income of nearly one million yuan.
